World Digital Library

Today’s website is The World Digital Library A.K.A W.D.L. The website makes primary materials from countries and cultures available on the Internet, free of charge and in multiple languages from around the world. These cultural treasures include, but are not limited to, manuscripts, maps, rare books, musical scores, recordings, films, prints, photographs, and architectural drawings.

Items on the WDL may easily be browsed by place, time, topic, type of item, and institution, or can be located by an searchn in the top right. Special features include a timeline and image-viewing . Item-level descriptions and interviews with curators about featured items add more information.

The WDL was developed by a team at the U.S. Library of Congress.

Today’s website is more another service from Google which you may not have heard of.It allows you get a email every time your search query comes up online.This is useful because it can help you research data ,follow someones online history and track your company online.

My rating is 5 out of 5 because the uses are endless and it does not flood your emails with information(unless you want it to).

Today’s website allows you to buy rent or get a eBook copy of an expensive book for university or college buy just signing up ,searching for a book and filling in the details.

My rating is 4 out of 5 because it is is helpful however has quite a few complaints.

I recently had to have my hard-drive replaced due to my old one breaking.And I wish that I still had all the data I had before it crashed but the backup didn’t work.Crashing laptops can be really annoying especially for someone with a busy life but all you can really do is hope it never happens to you and back up your data.Even then it is really tedious to backup all of your data and as soon as you make a new document or update a old document the backup is already out of date.Today’s website will backup your data automatically without much hassle of downloading.The website is good-sync which after downloading onto computers can sync all your files meaning if your computer fails the documents are always somewhere else.The syncing process is not slow as others as it does not use cloud software.

Today’s website is a journey planner which helps you discover attractions,restaurants and night life in 130 cites all over the world which you can then save into a map. The map can be took anywhere with the app from Google play and the app store from apple.If you are going to use your mobile you don’t even have to spend any money on Internet connection because its already all there on your phone. You can share the same map of attractions with your friends who you are going with if you become friends with them.You can join the free service using Face book which also means you don’t have to spend time identifying who your friends are

It is quite a young company as it was only started in 2009 by Joachim Paasche in Norway.

My rating is 4 out of 5 because it has great material but is not for the average reader.

Today’s website helps you learn what you want from the experts.You can create a page of information around a certain subject from either your knowledge or the internet’s. You can find a very wide variety of texts ranging from art and design to science.Some of the texts are advanced and some are simple.There is a search box in which if you have a microphone you can say what you want.The texts are split into categories to make information easier to find.

My rating is 5 out of 5 because it helps you find out about anything you need.

Today’s website is Imo.
The instant messenger for Facebook messenger,AIM,Google Talk,MSN messenger,Yahoo and more.Its really simple to use,looks good and is free as well.Other instant messengers make you pay for push notifications but Imo doesn’t. You can easily see what people are signed in with a bar at the bottom.
